Children & Adolescents

Seeing your child in distress is never easy. You want the best for your son or daughter, and it pains you to see them struggling socially, academically, and/or emotionally. Your child might even be causing a significant amount of stress for you and the rest of your family. In situations like these, even the most loving and dedicated parents can benefit from outside help and support. You job is to be a parent, not a therapist – that is where we come in.

We have clinicians on staff that specialize in the treatment of children. Some of the things we typically work with in children include but are not limited to the following: ADHD, depression and anxiety, anger problems, trauma, divorce and separation, and grief and loss. Depending upon the child’s age, it may be useful to use play therapy, a modality of therapy that speaks the “language” of the child and addresses their particular developmental needs. Therapy with children is different than with an adult, so it is important you find a therapist who has experience working with minors. Please don’t hesitate to contact us, either using this website or calling us at 909-452-7684. We look forward to hearing from you.
