Marriage and Family Therapist Intern Trainee


Traci Martin is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern Trainee at Cambridge College in the Master of Education Program. She is passionate about building the bridges of hope while helping others break through the walls of despair. Her work focuses on the belief that each person has the inner strength to excel beyond the complications of life. She strives to assist clients to move past the disappointments and failures life can bring, in efforts of creating a well-balanced lifestyle. Focusing on the impact trauma has on the person and family is crucial to Traci’s work for outlining the obstacles in one’s life.

She enjoys working with various populations including children, youth, individuals, families, and couples of all ages. Her education and life experiences have led her to deal with the issues of addictions, anxiety, domestic violence, parenting, time management, trauma, and weight control. Traci uses various types of therapy models, including teaching coping skills, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, solution-focused therapy, experiential family therapy, and Christian counseling when appropriate. When not with clients, she enjoys relaxing, spending time with her family, exercising, shopping and traveling.
